Financial Coach


Volunteer Description

financial coach helps a person understand the basics of personal finance as well as develop and maintain healthy financial habits. His or her main job is to empower the homeless people in our programs to reach their financial goals and learn how to handle their finances responsibly.

The financial coach will advise people to control and improve their relationship with money as s/he focuses on reaching his/her financial objectives.

S/he will be responsible for the initial study, planning and monitoring of the people who enter the HELP program.

  • Works with managers within the HELP program.

Specific Tasks

  1. Study, assess and diagnose financial situation of the Homeless Entrepreneurs.

  2. Coach the Homeless Entrepreneur to improve his/her financial skills.

  3. Create and present individual reports i.e. initial and progress report once a semester.

  4. Monthly meeting with department managers.

3 - 5 hours per week

Main Objectives

  1. Understand the economic situation of Homeless Entrepreneurs in the HELP Program and how they manage their finances.

  2. Identify problems and needs, and guide the Homeless Entrepreneurs towards a healthier financial situation.

  3. Improve financial literacy of Homeless Entrepreneurs.


Project Manager

Requirements

Basic Training. ADE, economics, finances, engineering, other professional careers.

Experience. Four years or more in project management, desirable in social impact projects.

Competences. Analytical capacity, organization and planning, effective communication.

Skills. Preparation and evaluation of projects, management of indicators.

Desirable. Tools for project management (Ms Project, Agile Methodologies, PMI or related).

Interests. Desirable experience in volunteering with social risk groups or similar.

RRSS. LinkedIn, Blogs or others (desirable).

Languages. Spanish, English, others


Videographer


Volunteer Description

video producer coordinates and manages the entire video production process. S/he may help with creative direction, setting a budget, writing scripts, organizing logistics, deadlines, and communicating with the team.

  • Works with and reports to Project Manager.

Specific Tasks

  1. Work with project manager to define video layout

  2. Produce video content

  3. Co-Create own ideas based on existing documentation

  4. Consolidate visual content

  5. Layout and quality control of the videos

  6. Knowledge of English & languages relevant to specific project.

  7. Weekly meetings with Project Manager.

Fundraiser


Volunteer Description

A fundraiser is a person whose job or task is to seek financial support for a charity, cause, or a specific project.

Works with the Communication Manager & revelant Department Manager.

Specific Tasks

  1. Research prospective donors

  2. Create a strong fundraising message that appeals to potential donors

  3. Identify and contact potential donors

  4. Use online platforms to raise donations

  5. Organize campaigns or events to solicit donations 

  6. Maintain records of donor information

  7. Evaluate the success of previous fundraising actions, campaigns and events.

  8. Weekly meeting with the Communication Manager and the Department Manager who will be receiving the funds.

  2. Convert leads into donors and sponsors

  3. Create and manage specific fundraising actions, campaigns and projects.


Web Content Editor


Volunteer Description

A Web Content Editor is a person who specializes in providing relevant content for our web page.

  • Works with the Communication Manager & reports to Web Page Director.

Specific Tasks

  1. Work with manager to define web content structure

  2. Write and edit website content

  3. Create documentation on content updates

  4. Consolidate visual content 

  5. Layout and quality control of the images and the rest of the graphic content 

  6. Knowledge of English & Spanish

  7. Familiar with CMS or Website builder Such as WIX, Squarespace or WordPress

  8. Weekly meetings with Web Page Manager.

Web Designer


Volunteer Description

A Web Designer is an IT professional who is responsible for designing the layout, visual appearance and the usability of a website.

  • Works with other Web Editor & reports to Web Page Director.

Specific Tasks

  1. Add and edit website content

  2. Create layout adhering to the existing design language

  3. Create visual elements such as visual mapping of the projects and programs. 

Ideal profile

  • Knowledge of CMS platforms (Squarespace)

  • Knowledge of HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3

  • Knowledge of best practices in UX 

  • Knowledge of design tools, such as Photoshop, Figma, Canva

  • Self-starter

Social Media Community Manager


Volunteer Description

A Social Media Community Manager is a person who builds, grows, and manages online communities, performing community management and focusing on our brand and cause.

  • Works with other community managers & reports to Community Management Director.

Responsible for 1 of the following social media accounts.

  • LinkedIn

  • Twitter

  • Facebook

  • Instagram

  • YouTube

Each volunteer will focus on a vertical social network.

Specific Tasks

  1. Create content plan

  2. Build social media network

  3. Campaign and content management

  4. Lead generation

  5. Fundraising

  6. Analyze impact and propose improvements

Social Media Campaign Manager


Volunteer Description

A Social Media Campaign Manager is a person who coordinates a campaign's operations such as fundraising, advertising, polling, connecting with our audience, and other activities supporting our cause.

  • Works with other community managers & reports to Communication Director.

  • Each volunteer will focus on 1 specific campaign at a time.

Specific Tasks

  1. Propose, plan and prepare 1 campaign strategy with Communication Director

  2. Define campaign goals

  3. Monitor campaign

  4. Coordinate with community managers to carry out campaigns

  5. Analyze and interpret the data (impacts, results, ROI)

  6. Weekly meeting with Communication Director
