VOLUNTEER DESCRIPTION
💛 We’re looking for you! If you’re moved by creating purposeful partnerships and opening doors that change lives, join as a volunteer on our fundraising team.
Our mission at Homeless Entrepreneur is to promote economic empowerment and poverty reduction through work and active citizenship, thanks to public-private collaboration, so people living in social exclusion can improve their quality of life.
We believe every citizen has the opportunity to participate regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, political affiliation, or religious belief.
🤝 WHY DO WE NEED YOU?
We’re looking for people who enjoy building relationships, connecting companies with real causes, and co-designing sustainable partnerships.
We’re not the ones who “ask for money”; we propose to be official social impact partners, building long-term relationships.
This volunteering role is also a space for learning and community: we share best practices, celebrate progress, and nurture the process.
ROLE PURPOSE
Open, develop, and close partnerships with companies and foundations (CSR/ESG) that fund Homeless Entrepreneur programs and activities in a sustainable, long-term way.
Team goal: raise ≥ €150,000/year across all volunteers to sustain and boost our programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and prioritize target accounts by fit (sector, footprint, alignment with mission).
Prospect and schedule 1–2 meetings/week with key decision-makers (CSR/ESG/HR/Marketing).
Conduct discovery and co-design proposals (program sponsorships, professional volunteering, in-kind donations, payroll giving).
Negotiate and close agreements; coordinate handover to Operations with objectives, governance, and impact reporting.
Keep the CRM up to date (pipeline, next steps, commitments).
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SHINE
- Empathy, resilience, autonomy, integrity, analytical rigor, curiosity, critical thinking, service mindset, and teamwork.
WHAT YOU WILL GAIN FROM THIS EXPERIENCE
- Practical learning in purpose-driven sales and ESG partnerships design.
- Peer mentoring and knowledge-sharing spaces (monthly feedback, community).
- Inclusion in event participation.
- Letter of recommendation / volunteer certificate based on contribution.

5 hours per week (with flexibility)
MINIMUM COMMITMENT

WHAT YOU CAN BRING (SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE)
Experience in B2B sales/partnerships/business development (ideally with CSR/ESG/foundations).
Own network or ability to open doors at the executive level to a “cold reach” approach.
Proficiency in consultative proposing, negotiation, and closing.
Digital skills (CRM, video conferencing, shared documentation).
