Homeless Entrepreneur has partnered up with the Hostal Grau, an eco-sustainable boutique hotel, to create social impact thanks to tourism and the commitment of our partner network.
The Social Impact Room is an initiative, where 100% of the profit of 1 room per week will be invested in local programs and projects led by Homeless Entrepreneur to empower people out of homelessness and poverty.
Our aim is to expand globally to unite tourists with the local community, so we can end homelessness and poverty as we know it.

Imagine having breakfast with someone from the organization, who can give you insight on how your room is changing other people’s lives as well as getting special recommendations only a local could give i.e. where to eat and what events to attend…

Thanks to your stay at Hostal Grau and the work of Homeless Entrepreneur, you’ll be able to get to know Barcelona closer and become an active player in the process of ending homelessness for the more than 4.899 people experiencing homelessness in Barcelona, which represents 0.3% of its total population.

The Social Impact Room
Help us create social impact by staying in The Social Impact Room at Hostal Grau in Barcelona to end homelessness and reduce poverty.
The objective is to empower tourists, the hostel/hotel they are staying in, Homeless Entrepreneur’s community of homeless individuals, advisors, donors, pro bono consultants, partners and volunteers, and, ultimately, the people experiencing homelessness in Barcelona, who want to be active, working citizens through our programs and projects.
Our ultimate goal is to provide a network of hostels/hotels and tourists around the world, who are committed to creating social impact that will end homelessness for motivated individuals, who lack resources.
Every Thursday, one lucky individual or group will be chosen to stay in The Social Impact Room! Not only will you be creating social impact without making an effort, but you will have the chance, if so desired, to have breakfast with one of the amazing community members of Homeless Entrepreneur, like Andrew Funk, the founding president, who will provide you with insight into how people are being empowered out of poverty thanks to your visit as well as local tips to make the most of your trip in Barcelona.
